Eplacing filters/membrane

We purchased RO system at M/s vidya sree service vellore on 20/05/09. we made a complaint for non working on 04/05/10. They are saying that even thought it is under warrranty they cannot replace membrane/filters since only 15 days are left. We have to pay them in cash

Pl clarify whether changing of filters /membrane we have to make payment during warrnaty period
