Madam Enterprises (Bharat Gas)
Very delayed delivery and poor service

Hi,

I am a consumer of Bharat Gas (Consumer Number 37969). The distributor supplying to my address is Madam Enterprises, Madivala, Bangalore. I am facing tremendous hardship due to delayed delivery of gas cylinders and poor service by this distributor. The issues faced are:

(a) Never able to get through to their telephone number 25635981. No alternate numbers available.

(b) When we place order for cylinder, standard reply is " you have to wait for at least 10 days".

(c) Even after 10 days the cylinder is never delivered.

(d) We have repeatedly beg to one Mr. Velu (Mobile number: 9980390333) and request him to deliver the cylinder. He finally delivers the cylinder (most of the time after 3 to 4 weeks).

(e) We suspect this distributor is committing fraud. He is delivering our cylinder to others by accepting bribes or premium.

(f) We suspect our cylinders are given to others, taken back from them after few days and then delivered to us. The delivery guy is tampering/re-sealing the cylinders. So we get lesser gas in the cylinder than what we pay for.

(g) We have 2 cylinders. Many times we don't get the ordered cylinder even after the 2nd cylinder is empty (4 weeks at least). We are so disgusted and fed up with this distributor that we have gone ahead and purchased a cylinder from a private supplier now (we cannot stop cooking at home because Madam Enterprises doesn't deliver a gas cylinder).

(h) Request Bharat Petroleum to investigate why such a shoddy delivery and service from this distributor and take appropriate action.
