Regarding estimated units in the electricity bill

Sir/Madam,

I am a resident of 20/1, A-Block, Kailash Nagar, Gwalior. I pay my electricity bills regularly according to the reading taken by the authorized meter reader. Despite this my electricity bill for the month of Nov has been added with 300 estimated units in addition to the reading taken by the meter reader. When I went to enquire the reason for adding the estimated units the person concerned told me that my consumption is less than the consumption in the previous bills. But the fact is that I was away from my home due to some domestic reasons, as such there was no consumption during the period. The board is not lending a patient hearing to my problem and they are insisting on depositing the bill.

It appears that the board has deviced a novel method to extract the deficit amount from sincere consumers or are they forcing consumers like me to get into the stream of electricity theives.

Hence I request you to direct the person concerned to look into my problem with utmost consideration and find a remedy to the problem at the earliest.
