Non receipt of acknowledgement of dues paid

As no bill was received for the last four months from Mahanagar Gas Limited, based on average past consumption I paid Rs by cheque mentioning my Name, CA No.on reverse of the cheque & submitted in the drop box. Subsequently, the company sent me a bill amounting to Rs.1875 which I paid via SBI net banking. I have not received the acknowledgement for the same. As on date on line bill is showing of outstanding of Rs.1875.
