Cheating - FRAUD

Hi There,

This is with respect to fulltime maid requirement at my place i approached Just Dial they have forwarded me few numbers. Few of them i approached but they didn't turned up. One agency called named AASHMAA PLACEMENT SERVICES's Jay Tyagi (8286238870) approached me on 27th april with a option to give me maid for 1-2 mths on the following conditions as i wrote a mail to them -

As discussed with Jay i'm hiring a fulltime (12Hrs i.e. 8am-8pm) maid at my place address as mentioned below -

I'm in a need of maid for 2months only & as discussed with Jay i need to pay Rs.4000/- as agency Fees in two parts 50% i.e. Rs.- while registering/filling form of our requirement (Given to Santosh - 8767381024) with the agency & 50% i.e. Rs.- after maid started working at my place on a salary of Rs.3000/- p.m.

As discussed if i'm terminating/unsatisfied with the maid services within a month agency will refund full Rs.4000/- (agency fees) to me or if after 3months (i.e. after maid started working with us), agency will reimburse agency fees back to me i.e. Rs.3500/- after deducting Rs.500/- as the agency charges.

Request you to revert back to me if my understanding differs from whatever Jay has described to me.

Also acknowledge the receipt of Rs.- (registration fees) paid to your executive Santosh today i.e. 28/04.

As per the mail above they were suppose to send the maid for interview to my place on 30th April, but from 30th onwards they are not at all picking up the call & even not send any maid to my place till date. I wanted to report this fraud to Police but in vain they are also saying i would have contacted them before paying fees to the agency. For many services people pay by their own without contacting police so the same i did. Might these guys must have cheated so many people before me & even they'll try to cheat many more even after me & it needs to be stopped somewhere.

Will appreciate if necessary action will be taken in this regards.
