Delay (3-4 year) in giving back caution money

Dear Sir,

We have completed MBA from BBS Inst. of Management Studies, Greater Noida, UP in 09 batch.

During this session /batch we have given as security/ caution money Rs.5000/- .

Still college deny to give and continue to make a propaganda for delay to give back money.

So i need a proper guidance and please suggest me what kind of fruitful / legal initiation should be taken?
