Not sanctioned maternity leaves

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to inform you that I had been working with Business School of Delhi, Greater noida since 2008.I had gone to this college till 9 months but inspite of everything they did not allow for maternity leaves. According to them, they have no policy of maternity leaves. They explained me everything when I came back after 3 months. I was keep asking about the leaves but all in vein. They could have explained things to me earlier. I worked there for more than one year. This is totally wrong and unethical. Being a woman, that was my right to get the maternity leaves.

They had sent me a mail that if there would be any vacancy they will let me know.

I had passed 9 months of my pregnancy in the hope of getting maternity leaves but all I got nothing. This college is AICTE approved but they are not following any norms. My question is what exactly an employee can do.

I have big hopes for my case. Please guide me. How can I get my maternity leaves money from this institute.
