Christ Church School
Admission to only particular community

It is a disappointment that has forced me to write Christ Church School at Byculla.

Let me tell you, it is not to write anything against about any community, but I would like to share what this school is looking at.

With a very positive approach and lots of hope, I bought this school form for my daughter’s admission in Nov.

The list for interview was put up on 9th Dec.

The day of interview (9th Jan), we and our daughter did well (parents and child interview). She was asked about the animals and colors which she is good at.

With a very positive note we went home as the interviewer was also happy with my daughter’s answers.

And finally the lists were put up yesterday after a month – 6th Feb to my surprise there were only Jain names that I could read out.

70% of Jain and rest were Boris. The only Maharashtrain names that I could find were Lotlikar and Waghmare.

It is not that, we are illiterate or not working in a reputed organization, but I guess the school discriminate kids according to their community.
