Colleges in chennai
Depositting original certiicate for lecturer jo

I am a Lecturer in a private college in chennai.several private colleges in tamil nadu (chennai) are getting the original certiicates of the lecturers when they are joining in the colleges.even the government colleges are returning the certiicates after verification.but the private colleges are keeping the certiicates upto their working period.

there is no rule that colleges must keep employees certificates.even some colleges asking Rs.1500 as a processing charge for returning the certificate.if lecturers want to apply for any SLET/Net/any government exam also they have to pay 1500 for taking a zerox copy of their own certiicates. Moreover to get our certiicates back for any health issues /pregnancy/going for govt.jobs

also we have to pay 3 months salary.

this is the democratic country.how the poor lecturers will complaint and go to court or appoint lawyers

i they dont have money.

moreover lecturers are giving bright future to the students.but how much they are getting as a salary?

please colleges must give revised salary to the lecturers.several colleges didn't implement

6 th pay scale.after 8 or 20 years of service they are getting only Rs.11000-19000 as a salary.

i request the government to take some steps regarding this matter.
