School does not function properly as per the standards and parents were merely cheated by paying full year fees

Hi,

My child is in Class I in DAV Baba School, Vandikaran Street, Velachery, Chennai. My child is studying there from LKG. For last two years, the school was functioning fine and the education standards were very good. The school prinicpal Ms. Kalyani had started a new trust and started collecting fees through this trust since last year. We had paid the full fees of RS. 28, 000/- for this acdemic year during the month of March itself. Unaware of the disputes that were going on between the management and the Principal, we had paid our fees for this academic year 2012 . The management started troubling the school operations seriously and they filed case against each other. The management wanted the Principal to leave the school and take over the school operations. Inspite of the Principal getting the court order to run the school in the same premises for another year, the management openly intimidated her and she started running the school in a two bedroom house in the neighbourhood.

With all these dramas going on, we sent our child to the small house, only with the hopes that atleast we could get quality education, but we were disappointed very much to see that my child is made to sit in UKG class and no proper classes are being taken. When we ask the Principal to return the fees what we have paid, she says she runs the school, we could very well continue the education, so why the question arises of returning the fees.

We are the only loser. We lost our money, our kids one year education. The school principal got her full revenue for this academic year and just keeps giving false beliefs to parents that she would not let down the children in any situation.
