Sir,

This is to inform you about a hazardous polluting gen-set of a mass communication & media school. It is by the name of " Iaan School of Mass Communication" at the back lane inside New Friends Colony C- Block. The address of it is:

We the residents of New Friends Colony, C- Block had earlier requested to its director Mr. Anuj Garg to kindly take some action as the gen-set of theirs is polluting air & noise at a very dangerous level. This had been repeatedly conveyed to him at regular intervals but to our vein nothing has been done by him. We had requested him to either rectify the gen-set by converting it to a silent generator & making it more environment friendly else to replace it by an efficient brand new silent generator.

Additionally, we had also requested him to shift the gen-set to the roof top of his premises as currently it has been illegally placed on the back service lane of the resident owners of C-Block thereby restricting the free movement in the lane & also polluting the entire back boundary wall area especially of the residences C-772 & C- 773, New Friends Colony, New Delhi -110025.

To further state on it, there is a major fire hazard as a residential CNG Gas Pipeline & a BIO-Gas Pipeline is running very close to the gen-set’s current location. In case of any fault & mishap occurring in the gen-set, it would trigger a major disaster of which the loss would be un-accountable in all respects of life.

Sir, the children as well as the residents of entire C- Block, New Friends Colony, humbly request you to kindly take the matter seriously and to take the necessary action at the earliest as a lot of lives are at stake with respect to health, property & environment.
