Non-delivery of packets to Sri Lanka

We sent six packets from G.P.O. Allahabad containing books under postal receipt Nos. Fgn-Sea-RPKT A 7796 to 7801 on 13th

Dec. 2007. To-date the packets have not reached destination.

We fail to understand why it should take so many months for sea mail packets to travel to a neighbouring country.

The carelessness appears from R.M.S. Allahabad, as instead of sending the packets to Chennai Foreign, they ignorantly send it to New Delhi Foreign. We do not understand how your Deptt. can rectify this.

We are sure, the Board will look into this, especially for exporters of knowledge books who ern foreign exchange for the country.
