Non refunding the refundable fee

Respected sir,

I am a pass out student of B.E. (E.C.) of 2009 batch of Jai Narain College of Technology (J.N.C.T.), Bhopal. Sir, in my third year of engineering, the college charged an amount of Rs. 10, 000 from us forcefully under the name of “placement and development fee”. The college told us at the time of depositing the fee that the fee is refundable. Hence, at that time I submitted that fee (which was optional fee as in the rules of AICTE fee reg.). After completion of my BE in June the college is not refunding my total deposited fee of 10, 000. Instead of refunding the fee, the college has deducted RS. 1000/- Per company from my deposited fee and at present the sum of only 5000/- is promised to me as refund.

If amount is deducted under the name of company, I would like to state that I appeared for total six companies which were all open campuses and not closed campus. Also, I was not placed in any of the campus in which I appeared Then I would like to know why and how my money was deducted @ 1000/- per company.

I respectfully state that necessary action should be taken so that I get my whole amount of 10, 000/- back.
