Amiete not considered for teaching positions in engineering colleges

I have completed AMIETE and applied for teaching associate position in various colleges of mahamaya technical university noida but they refused my candidature saying that AMIETE is not eligible for teaching. Though they are hiring normal B.E/B.tech candidates.

why this discrimination when AMIETE is well recognized by ministry of HRD.Even govt of uttar pradesh recognizes it for job purpose via letter number: Pravidhik Shiksha Vibhag, Lucknow (UP) No. 2031-F/89-18 dt. 01 April 1989. Office Memorandum
