MIDDLE SCHOOL IN TINDIVANAM
NON SANCTIONING OF MATERNITY LEAVE

My sister is working in a govt aided middle school in the town of Tindivanam, Villupuram dist, Tamil Nadu.

She delivered a baby girl in month of Feb'11.That time the maternity leave was 03 months. But after the recent elections, the maternity leave for female govt. servants has been enhanced from 03 months to 06 months vide G.O 51, personal and Administrative reforms (FR.III) department dated 16.05.2011 which was later amended as applicable for those who are in the maternity leave before 16.05.2011 and continue after 16.05.2011 vide G.O 61 dated 16.06.2011.

Still the school authorities resist to sanction the leave. I request the concerned authorities to take necessary action.
