Odaiyappa Colege Of Engineering And Tech
About the negligence of college management in providing the basic facilities

Education & Science

Sir,

I am a student of Odaiyappa College Of Engg. And Tech, Theni, P T R Palanivelrajan Nagar, Theni. I want to bring a few things to your kind attention

The college chairman is Dr. O Kannapan. Here in this college the students are not provided with any basic facilities like food, water, lab facilities. The students pay a tuition Fee of Rs.75, 000 per year and mess fee of Rs. 1450-1650. But it is very sad to inform you that the students are not provided with any facilities valuable for the fee they pay. Also the staffs are not provided salary. The chairman asks the students and staffs to quit the college if they asks about these negligence. There are cases in which the chairman has threatned the students and their parents of giving recourse for asking about the neligence. The college does not have any basic lab facilities as per the prescription of AICTE New Delhi, and Anna University. Even the students are beaten and slapped by the staffs. Fear of the management makes the students and staffs to keep mum.

I think you will take this into consideration.
