Poor Teachers

A friend of mine was an Admissions Rep at IADT Detroit and convinced me that all the instructors at this so called school were working in the industry. I got suckered in and although my GPA was a 3.7 and I was going to obtain a degree in Digital Media, I found that many of my instructors weren't working in the industry. I hardly call a wedding videographer an appropriate instructor for our video editing class (being told this would help us get into the film industry). Wedding videos are much different than movies... not to mention this same instructor then was teaching the Screenwriting class. It was a total joke!!! So after 2 semesters there I owe $14, 000... not to mention I had to leave the school due to a medical problem. They try to get the classes done in a 4 week period if you take online courses, how much do you really retain in 4 weeks? So I have this large sum of money lingering over me for being deceived and this so called friend who worked for them kept saying "keep going so I don't lose my enrollment." Many questionable admission reps work there, BE CAREFUL!
