Corruption in Affiliation of New Engineering colleges affiliated with Anna University of Technology Coimbatore. Every new colleges they paid Rs 25 lacs to VC Karunakaran to get affiliation. From 10 instuitions he has collected Rs. 2.5 Cr. VC Dr. Karunakaran collected more than Rs. 100 Cr from various sources after becoming the Vice Chancellor. His asset worth is more than Rs. 200 Cr. The corrupted money has invested in US under his son name. One month before only his son was went to US.
