Charging for the faulty product under the warranty

Dear sir/ madam,

I have purchased an AQUASURE Elegant R.O. dated 11/15-10 from M/S NIJHAWAN LECTRONICS A-19, Shyam Park Extn. Sahibabad, Ghaziabad vide Bill No. 3643.

The machine was installed by Mr. Yogesh Chauhan and he assured that if there would be any discrepancy in the equipment. the company would replace/modify the equipment without any extra cost. And he also assured that the engineer would visit after every 3 months for inspecting the machine..

After Completing the 9 months, the machine wasn't functioning properly and was not purifying the water, so a proper complaint was marked to the Nijhawan Electronics dated 23.07. the engineer of the EUREKA FORBES, MR. RAJ KUMAR came and visited the site on 25.07.2010 at 16:00 IST.

After verifying the machine, I requested for proper check for the machine, then the engineer confirmed that there was a fault in the PARTICULATE FILTER, and demanded for the amount of RS. 305 for replacing the filter.

In the warranty card, point no.3 states that the company would bear all the defects during the 12 months of the warranty period. Even though the engineer demanded the sum of Rs. 305. But there was no proper response from the EUREKA FORBES for the same question???

Sir/ Madam, The Engineer was asked about the A.M.C. and the TERMS AND CONDITION regarding the SERVICING OF THE R.O.. The Engineer Mr. RAJ KUMAR confirmed that if an A.M.C. is made for 1 year then the company would replace all the filters once in a year. Then the question is why the filters can't be changed during the period of the warranty???

PLEASE Treat this matter as a high level ESCALATION because if in case any of the family member is found sick/ill because of the AQUASURE EUREKA FORBES R.O. then in that case the company would be whole sole responsible for the same.
