Spam mails

I am using my mobile with airtel prepaid connection from fast 3 years. from last 6 months i am getting spam mail to my mobile from 600

i am getting ugly messages from different mail ids. daily i am getting 20 messages causing inconvenience. when i called to customer care, they said ' we cant do anything with this problem, some one sending mails to u r mobile. and the solution is to change the number'. i am planning that if this problem is not solved, i would like to switch the network.my mobile number is 91-9849167126
