Subject: Repair of Blackberry phone model 9530

I have purchased one Blackberry phone model 9530 from Impact Retail Private Limited. Date of purchase was 14th Feb.2010. During rainy season some water droplets fallen on the phone. After two three days of this incidence camera function stopped working, remaining all other features working ok. After two weeks all of sudden phone power goes off. I had tried by phone recharging but phone did not started.

After that i had gone to service center of blackberry at gurgaon. At service center they told me that they will send this phone for repair at Bangalore. I had sent this phone to bangalore at blackberry service center. They said that blackberry will not repair phone with water entry. They can replace phone, costing around Rs.18000/-.Whereas the new phone costing Rs.19000/-.In such case what service blackberry providing.

I want to know from blackberry following things:

1.From where i can get help in getting repair this phone. Please suggest. I am not able to use my phone from last one month.

Following are the my grievances about my phone:

1.Both the service centers as they know water entered in phone - they have not taken pain to even check the phone for it is repairable or not.

2.Before buying blackberry i had nokia phone, many times phone came in contact to rain water. But never happened that phone functions stopped working. This is not special for me, normally users keep mobile in pocket or case fitted in belt. In rainy season it is quite impossible that phone is not coming in contact with water. From my experience

i can say that Buying blackberry not worth to money.
