PARCEL NOT RECEIVED

On 25th May my sister sent me a gift package from Austrila via EMS (Receipt No: EE746573551AU). It reached Mumbai (India) on the 5th of Jun and was received by Mumbai EMS. On the same day, it was sent to the Customs Dept for customs clearance. But since then there has been no news of the same. I have been trying my best to google out every possible contact no and speak to the customs officials. But what I got is numbers and more contact numbers. Every time I call up someone they would give me another person's number and ask me to contact them. Trust me if I continue with it I will probably end up creating an entire Telephone Directory out of it but unfortunately still I couldnt get any news or hope of receiving my gift. I feel ashamed to tell my sister in the Austrila that I havent received it yet. My own countrymen have let me down. I feel helpless and hopeless. I have no other option than leaving it on God and fate. When I reached this forum, I was even more demoralized by what I saw. I am not the only one complaining but there are so many more before me. After reading all this I dont have any hope of receiving it anymore. The best I can tell my sister is not to send anything in future via Post coz it would never reach me. What's the use of this system if people are scared to use it? She is a normal student and cant afford to sent me international couriers spending thousands of money on the same. I feel harassed, frustrated and discouraged to use this Postal System, all because of the glorious reputation of the Mumbai Customs Dept. I wonder when will this tyranny and blatant corruption come to an end?

If someone in authority is reading this, I implore you, beg you to please try and hand over my gift to me
