No response for Warranty confirmation

I have purchased a Canon EOS 1100D WL DSLR in the beginning of April and at that time I was told that that there was a simple process of registering the camera online after which I would be given a warranty number for the product by which Canon would guarentee the warranty of the product. I tried on numerous occassions to register online but I always got an error on the cannon edge website. I was asked to come down to their website after which all they told me at the website was that there was a system issue earlier and that now the camera would get registered... It is now 4 months later and the camera has still not been registered. Inspite of repeated follow ups with the customer service team there have been no responces. AFter spending all this money on a product Canon is unable to give me even the warranty that they promised which is provided immediately with any other product. Even the free class which they promised has not been provided. I dread the day that the Camera gives any problems cause I can pretty much Guarentee that there will be no help from Canon's side to repair the Camera even in the Warranty period. Extremly dissapointed.
