Defective Product - Conch Water Purifie

Hi,

We purchased Conch Water Purifier for Rs13000/- almost 18 months before. Within 1yr of warranty, the product stopped working atleast 5 times and the Conch guys repaired the purifier. They used to tell us that they have replaced parts like membrane etc (I can't remember the names of parts they used to Quote). Once the warranty was over, the product stopped working again in the very first month. They took Rs 2000 to repair it and within next 3 months, it has now stopped working again. Now they are saying that membrane need to be changed which cost another 1500 bucks. Even after following for around month now, they have not repaired the product. I checked internet for its site "www.conchwp.com". They said that its a Bangalore based company and has its corporate office there. The two customer care numbers given on site reach to Monish in patiala. There is NO contact for corporate office where I can complain against these guys. I tried locating the bangalore office address on google maps and in general on internet but I cannot find any reference anywhere.

Now I am forced to believe that this is a fraud company.

whosoever is planning to buy Conch Water Purifier, PLEASE DO NO BUY IT. Buy kent, aquaguard or any other company's product but NOT CONCH.
