GLASS OF COOK TOP COMPLETELY BROKEN

I bought cook top (produt code CT 3 BG) on 19/06 from homeland outlet of bajoria appliances p ltd. when i opened this packing on my griha pravesh on 24/06, i found that the glass was completely broken. i immediately contacted the outlet and even returned back the product. now the counter girl is asking me to pay Rs.1800/- towards cost of replacement of the glass.
