Defective Product / Disgusting Service

First - DO NOT BUY FROM HOME SHOP 18!!!

I bought a Jaipan Roti Maker from Home Shop 18 a few days ago and received it in a week after ordering. I had other options available but preferred Jaipan due to the brand name. The my pain started- the product was defective, out of the box, and didnt work as soon as it was installed. I called Home Shop 18 the next day who referred me to Jaipan for service. It has been 10 days now and I have been calling Jaipan Mumbai and their Bangalore service center but to no avail. Finally, I am going to ask HS18 for a refund today; unwanted harassment and wastage of time; better to buy appliances from the stores. HS18 will always send you stuff with old manufacturing dates and would always have quality issues. I have burnt my fingers twice now, with them.
