Eureka forbes Water Purifier
Poor Service

On 17th Jan I put in a complaint that my Eureka Forbes Water Purifier was not allowing water to pass thru... I was given a complaint number - 84205856 and told that i would be "attended in 24 working hrs" by their helpline 39883333. A service guy turned up yesterday (20th Jan) finally... claimed chemical needed replcement and would come tomorrow to do it... he hasnt shown up of course...

The problem it seems is that Eureka Forbes has outsourced its servicing to 3rd party maintenance - and these guys are out to make a big buck on AMCs, replacing parts indiscriminately, (u will find that parts r refurbished when checked not new). The first question the service guy will ask is "do u have and AMC" then he will tell u that chemical and candle need changing. then when it doesn't still work... he will need to take it to the shop to repair, then they will put some old part or perhaps fix the original...(ask them for your old damaged part... they will never give it even tho u have supposedly paid for a new part... Maruti makes it a point to leave all the old parts they have replaced in your car when they return it to u. EF sucks... gone r the days of good service... buy any water purifier or for that matter product... just make sure service is being rendered directly by the company and not an outsourced (supposedly efficient) entity.
