EXIDE/ INVARED 500 BATTERY
NO POWER BACKUP DURATION FOR EVEN 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE WARRANTY IS OVER

I have purchased an EXIDE INVARED 500 battery (Serial No.018411) from ASP Enterprisess #1, College Road, Karaikudi - 630002, Bill No.78 Dated: 20/03. The warranty of the product is for 30 months. But, before the warranty period expires, the battery became unusable as it could not retain charge for more than 10 minutes. Explaining the condition of the battery, it was handed over to the supplier above mentioned for replacement on 17.03.2011. After two months of waiting time sine then, I could not hear anything positively from the supplier for the replacement of the product. The supplier inturn passes the bug to the whole-sale dealer who supplied the product to them.

During the days of frequent power cut, I along with my family suffer much, especially during night and morning hours.

I have resorted to this complaint after the prolonged wait, hoping for the redressal at the earliest date at least hereafter.
