Poor performance

Since purchase i have faced the poormost phone i have ever bought. I bought it as a gift for my wife on 8.5.09 but from the next day become defective for hanging & screen scramble problems. From the shop - 'planet m' mall road kanpur where i have got it, is now closed. Phone is still at sony repair tcentre, swaroop nagar, kanpur thr' planet m rep whjm i could find hardly. no one is listening. phone is fourth time submitted for repair. what is the policy of planet m or sony erricsson I donot know but I am suffering. My gift has become a curse for me.i hardly could use the phone for 15 days in last six months. i purchased it for 8000 rs and present cost also down to 6200 rs so no resale option is for me.as per service centre once they changed the internal system. I request company should replace the set with some better otherwise i wnt to complain at consumer forum.
