Hi,
I have purchased an "Full Touch i9 / i9 3G S Mobile 3.2 inch" which is a dual SIM mobile phone through the online E-Commerce web portal www.ebay.co.in with the trader "pareshwins".
The trader has clearly mentioined in his item description that both the SIM will be having its own and unique IMEI numbers. He described that in case if we find that IMEI number as invalid he will be replace or give full refund for the same.
So I purchased this item and it has been shipped on 30 October and I received this item on 01 Nov.
Later on 09 Dec the mobile started saying the error for one of the SIM that it is Invalid SIM. When I contacted the seller for the same issue, he gave me a reason that all the mobile which had been purchased on or before 30 Oct will have fake IMEI number and he is not going to do anything for that. This all took atleast couple of weeks.
I tried informing this to EBay customer support to take necessary action on this. This almost took me couple of weeks till today (31 Dec as I waited for seller's response and mailing the Customer support and waited). And today I got a reply mail from the Ebay suuport saying that they can't do anyting on this as their policy will be able to support this situation only till 45 days of purchase.
Please advice and help me to get the replacement for the item and take necessary action on this seller who is involved in selling Mobile phones with the Invalid IMEI numbers.
