The extreme level of pathetic service and unprofessionalism: thats what the first thing comes in mind when I hear Godrej now...
We bought a Godrej axis refrigerator in Dec. It encountered some problem in June and i lodged a complain in Godrej customer care on June 29th vide complain # 859910 . The technician visited and he informed us that the compressor needs to be changed and since the Equipment is under warranty it would be replaced free of cost. I got a call from the technician on 2nd July that the compressor has arrived and he would come and change it. Its been over three weeks now and no one has come. I am really sick and tired of calling up the various Godrej numbers but all in vain. No one has turned up inspite of constant reminders and phone calls to various people like Saif at 1800 number, Dinesh at Noida office so on and so forth. The service engineers mobiles are always switched off during the working hours. Its hard to believe that Godrej being a brand and known name has such incompetent and useless employees who just know how to mentally harass and mislead a customer and nothing about their actual job. Infact when i asked them to provide me the mobile number of the concerned person here in Dehradun so that i could directly interact with him and get to the bottom of this issue they just denied it saying that they will not give me the number at any cost. I wonder how Godrej would survive with such after sales service and with such work attitude. This thing is going on and on and on... I'm surprised and shocked to see the heights of unprofessionalism in Godrej.
I would really hope that Godrej takes some quick and necessary action against this or just simply close down the company. Alas i learnt a lesson not to go for Godrej ever in future...
