Efrigerator not working properly

I have a Godrej Deepdoor Doble doodr Intellflo refrigerator bought in the year 1999. We got new compressor installed on 1st July. We were charged Rs.3575 plus Rs.350 (visiting charges). Again the refrigerator started creating problems, cooling is not proper. I again lodged a complaint on 29th september (complaint no. 654735) stating that cooling was not proper. Service mechanic came at 3:00 clock, he simply touched the refrigerator and gave the opinion that it was working properly and cooling would be achieved within 4-5 hrs. He did not make any efforts to check the freezer properly. He called up his service center from where he arrived (Shri Krishna service, ahmedabad Phone. No. 079-65495800, 65495855) and stated about the condition of the freeze. His incharge spoke to me and wanted me to pay Rs. 350/- as visiting charges. I was surprised as the service mechanic did not bother to do any thing and was confident that freeze was ok. I also did not give any money as he had done nothing. He also left stating that next time if i lodge a complaint, I have to pay.

My refrigerator is still not working properly, Proper cooling is not achieved. I want to know what should be done. Within 3 months of installation of new compressor, my refrigerator is creating problem, why am I suppose to pay visiting charges? Are there any norms for such circumstanmces? Service Centre personnels threaten us that they are key working peaople who are visiting door to door, not the ones who are noting our complaints and intimating them to solve the problem. So we have to pay the visiting charges.

I would like to know if we have to pay such heavy charges now and then, why shall we call Co.'s authorised professionals. The reason for calling a company person is mainly that we are not cheated as well as charged unduly amount. We get an assured product. So the company should clarify all these matters to their service agents.
