Cooling problem

I have a godrej refrigetor no 1 -170L model, purchased on 14th of april it was reported to godrej and the service person came and cheked the refrigetor and said that its compressor (motor) is gone, need to be replaced, since it is under warranty and the cost of it is around Rs.3500.00, free replacement will be done from the company and he took all the details.

later while going he said the customer should bear the gas filling expense which will cost the customer Rs.2000.00.

iam surprised bcoz this is a very huge or the service people is trying to cheat me.

kindly advice on this.
