Not doing AMC

I have purchased the above refrigerator on 24.12.04 since its purchased there numerous complaints regarding its cooling and many times many parts has been replaced. As I got AMC hence i was less worried about its maintenance. Now the AMC is expired on 23.12.2009 and I am worried a lot as when I tried to get its AMC renewed the company official said that we are not doing AMC for this product as the company has stopped its production. but the customer who has purchased why they should suffer for there no fault in purchasing the item of famous company. If company has stopped product due to its faulty designing than it should recall the product from the market to save its name and non harrasment to the customer. Hence company may be directed to replace the product with new one and I am ready to pay the difference or its AMC should be done
