Dear Sir / Madam,

I have purchased a Godrej 410 Ltr. Fridge in 2006 and have done a

service contract for 4 years from 27 Aug. The contract

application number is 1070596.

For last 2 – 3 months the cooling was not sufficient. {In winter

months and with temp. control on MAX}.

On 4/3/10 we complained for ‘no cooling’ A technician visited and

tried some adjustments but it did not work and on 08/3/10 the

compressor was changed. Even then the cooling problem was not

rectified and the technician promised to visit after two days. In the

mean while we were informed through SMS that the complaint has been

cleared.

We then lodged complaint again on 10/3/10 [No. 99184] A technician

visited the next day and promised to visit again to change the

thermostat. He never came. Instead on 13/3/10 the fridge was taken to

service centre for rectification. The fridge was brought back on

15/3/10 with high compressor noise and no cooling. Again we were

informed through SMS that the complaint has been cleared.

We then lodged complaint again on 17/3/10 [No. 993785] A technician

visited and said that compressor needs to be changed to ‘power cool’

and then if needed he will change the thermostat. He will do the

needful. It did not happen. Again we were informed through SMS that

the complaint has been cleared.

There after we lodged complaints repeatedly. [No. 993785, No.997453]

And every time telephone support executive promised to send the

technician on the same day.

Complaints have been cleared without any technician visiting and doing

the needed and promised rectification. The problem of high compressor

noise, less cooling, compressor remaining ON for nearly 40 – 45

minutes and OFF for just 5 – 10 minutes, resulting in heavy

electricity consumption, fridge walls staying hot all the time,

continues.

On 30/3/10 we lodged two complaints for which we were not given

number. On 31/3/10 the number given is 999857 with a promise to send

the technician tomorrow.

We were advised to call the ‘super tech service’ numbers however many

a time the person who attended the calls could not say when the

technician will visit nor did she got back to us. We have managed to contact your Godrej office contact person in Pune, Ms. Chaitrali .[This

name and number was given by your tel. support executive] She has been promising to send the person and clear the problem but no one ever has visited in last 20 days.

We have now exhausted our patience with unsatisfactory support and

service by Godrej.
