Unable to deliver product

Hi,

We just bought a refrigerator from the Great Eastern Showroom in Behala about 4 days back. We needed a delivery within 2 days and we were assured of the same. We made the full payment at the time of booking as well.

However, the refrigerator wasn't delivered on time. On the 3rd day, they called up and said that delivery will not be possible as there is no stock. On being asked why they promised to deliver if they didn't have stock, the answer was to take the bill to them and they will refund the amount. The requirement for us was the refrigerator and not the money. Absolutely unethical approach from them.

We had to face major problems due to the unavailability of the refrigerator and it was all caused due to the horrendous service of Great Eastern Electronics. On being shouted at, they agreed to deliver a different model altogether with an extra charge. That delivery also did not happen on time and happened a day later.

It has been a really frustrating experience, and I would recommend all to stay away from this dealer. I will also be complaining to the Godrej officials regarding this. I am sure that a brand as reputed as Godrej would not want to be blemished because of the ill service provided by the dealers.
