Wrong Model delivered after Purchase

Dear Cocnern

I had purchases a Voltas Window AC (1.5 ton) from local dealer HARMONY HOUSE (Jessore Road Branch, Kolkata) on Sunday where I was shown 2star AC at Rs 16600 and I agreed to take that. After making the down payment the next day when the AC was delivered I noticed that they have sent some other model (1 star AC), which was not the one I selected during purchase also the one that was install is a defective model and is not working at present. I have contacted both the dealer and the Voltas Company. The company has registered a complaint and till now there is no action and the dealer (HARMONY HOUSE) has totally refused that he has sent a wrong model. He has even been very rude and has said he will not change anything and will not entertain me at any cost. I can do whatever I want.

I have even requested the company to take some action against the dealer but the company is also not willing to help.

I am stuck in between and have no option but to accept whatever the company and dealer is saying.

Till today the company has not replaced the defected machine and is informing that the machine will be repaired. I have clearly told them to replace the entire machine, as I will not use the repaired machine.

I have been harassed both the company VOLTAS and the dealer HARMONY HOUSE.

Pls help solving this issue.

Also a message to the entire user pls be careful when you deal with HARMONY HOUSE which has their branches at PARK STREET KOLKATA and JESSORE ROAD KOLKATA. This dealer has appointed big liars in their showrooms and they refuge whatever promise they do after selling stuffs. Hope someone take strict action against them.
