Germkill Battery kit not of full capacity

Dear Sir,

I had purchased a Long Lasting Germ Kill Battery Kit costing Rs. 550/- on 29-01, this kit should ideally filter 2250 litres of water as per the claim of the company. On an average we filter around 12 to 14 litres of water in a day. earlier the Kit used to last us around 170 days. the present Germkit has lasted only 138 days from 29-01 till today that is 138*14 litres (max) = 1932 litres total, I am sure this kit was a defective one.

This morning I telephoned the Helpline no. and spoke to Anuradha to order a fresh kit. I also complained about the earlier kit being defective, to which she replied that because of the summer the Chlorine gets exhasted faster, and there were affirmed other complaints too. But this is not the first summer, I have been using pureit for the last four summers.
