Hitachi 1.5 ton window air conditioner
Foul smelling air conditione

I bought this hitachi 1.5 ton ac on 10th, august from garg electronics, sco.207, phase 1, urban estate, patiala, punjab, india. From day one its remote was malfunctioning and operating only when used right infront of the ac and not working if the distance was increased to 1 meter as a result remote was not working from the bed. After complaining to the garg electronics they tried to replace the front pcm of the unit but the problem was not solved so they changed the whole unit with a new one. Now in this second unit the remote is fine but it gives foul smell when compressor is not on. That is its blower gives foul smell. Also this unit is more noisy than previous one.
