Our whirlpool fully automatic washing machine model H-65 is under maintenance contract. Of late it is becoming unserviceable at short intervals. On 27 Sept.09 it became unserviceable again and on 28.09. I complaint about this to the customer care. I was given complaint No. KL0909011202. Mechanic who visited to repair the machine was not in possession of the part (PCP) that needed to be replaced. I was told it will take maximum two days to repair my machine and customer care will keep me informed about the progress on my complaint.
It is sad that customer care never contacted me to inform about the progress. It is I, who has to contact them every time. They have only apology to offer for the delay in servicing the machine and extend the expected date for the repairs. Till date the machine is not re-paired. This is a classic example how a good product by established company may earn bad name due to poor after - sell repair and maintenance support service. I hope whirlpool will look into the matter.
