Bought Icemagic Elite 220L mODEL 220imelt Ser No INAO 25109690 on 11-09 from Electronic Village, Calicut-2. I have taken AMC for the period upto 11.02. forgot to extend it further.

It so happened we were out of station for 15 days with the fridge on as we did in earlier occations. When we returned home it is found that the unit was not functioning producing no coolness and the door panel blank.

What surprised me from the technical staff that he has simply changed the pannel with a new one taking a cheque for Rs.2580/=.The same centre charged and taken away Rs.3800/= billing charges for Intl Cool parts and Home care plan etc. The cost of the fridge was Rs.15, 900/=

The mechanic admitted that he has no knowledge of electronics and when I asked about the problem of the unit, he said there is some shortage in the board (either shortage or ICU gone)

The board look fresh and I did not find any damage due to electricity problem and things like that. In my opinion it should have been put into use by joining the points by welding or some other method.

Poor people buy the fridge by seeing KAJOL with the background whirlpool whirlpool&--and see how the corporate put them in the pool.

I could have stopped the payment of cheque and handle the matter differently, but the fact is you have no proper service persons, only spareparts sale centres. Now the cost has come to Rs, 23000/=.HOW FUNNY ARE INDIANS.
