IFB top loading washing machine
No response from authorised service centre/representative since 45 days

I had bought an IFB Top loading washing machine in the month of May. Everything was fine till May during which the machine was covered under warranty. I started having problems with the working of the machine from the very next month i.e. June right after the expiry of warranty, following which, i had registered a complaint with the IFB Call centre. After innumerable repeated calls from my end to the supervisors and senoir service managers a Service Technician - Mr. Vijay turns up at my residence after 20 days. He inspects the machine visually and immediately advices me to take the AMC [Annual maintenance cost]. When question on what basis he recommends, he speculates it could be a problem with the capacitor or the motor itself and promises to replace the same. Till date, 31st July the response from him and his agency is that there is no stock of the required parts from IFB.

It has been a very painful experience to talk to these people and constantly follow up for which their response is pathetic. I feel frustrated after spending close to Rs.12.000/- on a brand like IFB and stuck in the middle of nowhere in terms of after sales service. After this horrifying experience i felt the need to alert the consumers and spread the message that IFB DOESN'T VALUE IT'S CUSTOMERS by not providing any service promised during the time of the sale.

I appeal to anyone who has been able to get some sort of service for their IFB washing machine, to come forward and give me the leads to the right person.
