I purchased a gas stove burner “3 in 1 Jewel” from Parmar Traders from my house in Lonavala. The gas stove is from Jyoti Gas and company operates through a dealership in Pune address mentioned below :

The gas stove has been intermittently used when we visit Lonavala – during my last visit on 13th December the glass top of the burner cracked into multiple pieces causing injury to our maid, while the injury was not serious it could potentially have been very serious. This quality gap is unacceptable and dangerous for customers given that the company promotes glass top stoves very heavily.
I contacted the company via an email and they have not responeded atall. On telephone I have been told there is no warranty for glass tops. My issue is not repair of the stove - I would like people to be aware of the perils of getting into the trap of buying this type burners and landing themselves into potentially dangerous working environment in the kitchen.
