Poor battery backup

I have puchase karbonn 460 on 12-06-10 but as per cateloge the battery backup was good

but right now the phone's batt/ back up is hardly one hour i had told distributer but he changed the batt but not the handset and told me that now it will work but as per duo procees handset can be changed within seven days as per my knowlege .now the toll free no. of the company is not working.

pls suggest what to do.
