Khaitan Ayush Cooler
Air Cooler Not Working and Service Agent not showing up

I purchased a Khaitan Ayush Air Cooler on 8th May, which broke down yesterday (29th May) just three weeks after the purchase. I called the service center, and they said that they will say someone. When I requested the time, the person was vague, stating sometime in the afternoon. I called back after 4 hrs and they provided the cell phone number of a service engineer (Lalit) who said he will be here within two hours. He never made it and he has not been answering the phone. The service center has not been answering the phone either. Apparently customer service is still an alien concept in India and am absolutely disgusted. I will urge all fellow consumers to refrain from purchasing Khaitan products.
