High costing on repairing

I ve purchased one LG 32" LCD TV model 32LG80FR, sl no 901LPAG001384 on 23.3.2010 from Tarang's at ganeshguri, Guwahati, Assam by paying Rs.46000. My TV is installed on the wall which also covers my power swicth box. Since the very beginning, whenever i use remote to power off from remote control, next time it was not getting on from the remote control power switch, or if electricity line goes off, when it comes back it doesnt gets on automatically. However i could not make any complaint and my family did never give any serious thought about it due to my absence in the house. Howsoever i made the complaint finally but unfortunately one year gurantee was over. Nonetheless i called service centre who sent one service engineer Mr Suman who said it is the problem of SMPS Board which will cost around Rs 4000, while another person Mr Bora Ph no 03612463729 called me and said about the problem in remote control board costing around Rs. 11000.
