Availability of soap/detergent to be used in dishwashers

We bought the dishwsher in April. The vendor told that the soap/salt and fluid to be used are available in all leading dept stores at the centre. Based on this we bought the product. The service engineer who came to instal told us that the above are not available in any store here and we have to buy only from LG. He showed us the plastic containers (which bore no name/details of products contained and other details like weight, expiry date etc) and also that he will not give us any bill and wanted cash payment for this. We did not buy from him thinking that these will be available in leading dept. stores as the vendor told. But to our surprise these are not available in any of the leading dept stores at this centre (like Reliance.spencers, More, or Nilgris). Now on talking to the local service centre of the company we understand that these will be available only in chennai. Having bought the product and installed we have not been able to use it since 1 month. The local persons are not able to help. More than that they have misled us into purchasing the product. This is a serious matter in misleading the customer involving the credibility of the big company like LG. I would like the company to give us satisfaction. either by arranging for these products to used in the dishwasher or take back the dishwasher and compensate us with the price and other expenses we have incurred sofaras also inconvenience caused us.
