Defective LG microwave oven sold & not even responding to mails

Had purchased an LG convection microwave oven which stopped working within first month of purchase. First registered the complaint with LG customer team on 01.12.2011. Rather than owing the moral responsibility for the failure of their product, they seem least interested to even revert with a simple apology. Resolution to the complaint does not even seem to be on their agenda.

Have written several times to them but the mail remains unanswered each time. It has been more than 20 days that I've not been able to use the oven.

Imagine having an oven in your kitchen & not being able to use it & if you make-up your mind to complain about it, there is no one to even listen to it. Was such enthusiastic to purchase the LG product but have now learnt a lesson for lifetime that a Korean company would remain Korean for life, no matter even if it employs Indian people; It is least concerned about Indian people & their emotions. What do you do? just pull up your hairs & vow never to buy Korean product ever again.

Did I spend a cool 13000 bucks to cry a month later. This is nothing more than throwing a bundle of notes out of my window & some Korean standing outside would catch the bundle & run away. Absolute shameless.

If someone has some solution, do suggest as the question here is not just about 13000 bucks but also about ethics. Business ethics. These companies are here in our country to do business & now have started exploiting us only. Should the govt not do something to keep a check on the unethical business practices by these non-Indian companies.
