LG LCD TV Remote
New Remote not available for 3 months

I bought LG LCD TV (42LH50YR) from LG Best Shop on Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on 28-02-1010. Last 3 months my TV remote is not functioning. I have spoken to LG customer care and after a lot of insistence they registered equest for new remote. The remote Model is MKJ42519623. Despite my repeated requests people in service centre in Ameerpet, Hyderabad have been telling it will come in few days everytime. Last week they called me and asked me to come today to service. I travelled almost 10 km from Madhapur to Ameerpet wasting costly petrol for my car only for this remote. Today I was told the remote wil come next week. I have been to the LG service centre for this remote atleast 3 times now ans wasted a lot of money on petrol and time.

I work as Director in renowned IT company with 1, 20, 000 employees. If LG can not replace parts like remotes, why are they selling TVs? I will ask all employees not to buy LG products.
