Complaint closed without rectification

Hi,

I purchased LG Fully automatic Washing machine Model 8019QS on 23/12. Within 4 days we found that the washing machine was not detecting the correct water level with respect to number of clothes.

We made email complaint on 28/12/09 and we received a note that some action would be taken but no action was ever taken.

On 11/01/10 we registered phone complaint to which a technician did visit the site, He did understand the problem but was not able to rectify. We asked him not to close the complaint because the problem is not rectified but he closed it without our information.

I wonder how can the technicians be allowed to close the complaint without customer signature on visit sheet.

Moreover the customer care / after sales support phone listed on LG site are never picked up, more like some govt deptt than a reputed corporate. I called many mobile numbers but they were promptly cut off.

The company advertises on site that the washing machine saves water but in our case the washing machine takes medium level of water even with 1 or two clothes, and the technicians are not trained to even find out the reason for it and offer useless justifications

This is third grade service.
